VANCOUVER, British Columbia - July 30, 2015 - Aspect Biosystems Ltd. is excited to announce the closing of an oversubscribed seed round funded by the local Vancouver Angel community.
Aspect Biosystems is an internationally recognized Canadian biotechnology company founded in November 2013 and spun out from the University of British Columbia and based on advanced research conducted by an interdisciplinary team of world-class researchers in engineering and medicine. Aspect is a world leader in the development of cutting edge 3D bioprinting technology capable of generating functional living human tissues. Aspect has a vision of enabling human tissues on demand for a range of applications including pre-clinical drug discovery, basic research, cosmetic testing and personalized medicine.
